Job Description
Position OverviewWe’re looking for early career candidates who have an aptitude and interest in Sales to fill a Sales Support Specialist role on the Education Sales team at Lightcast. This person’s primary responsibility will be to enable sales effectiveness through improving the quality of the customer database, optimizing prospecting efficiency, and maximizing expansion opportunities. This role is designed as a professional track for sales careers, providing opportunities which could include developing leads and nurturing prospective customer relationships resulting in new sale opportunities. We value attention to detail, organization, competitiveness, agility, and teaming. In this role, highly successful candidates will learn the Lightcast sales process and have potential to progress into more advanced sales roles.Job Duties and Responsibilities- Perform thorough research to inform prospecting campaigns for Account Executives to include background notes and information
- Leverage technology stack (Ex. SalesForce, SalesLoft, HighSpot, ZoomInfo and Google Docs) to maintain high internal data integrity and quality
- Support the Business Development Team and multiple Sales Teams in building, verifying, and delivering accurate prospecting lists for sales plays and cadences
- Daily focused data entry verifying and validating existing contacts by account and creating new contacts when necessary
