Your MissionWe are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Financial and internal control CEE team.Your role will cover financial control in Ukraine, its improvement and development, in Russia and Poland.For the Internal control part, the role will be to support the development of internal control procedures to ensure that financial activities meet short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations and standards in Russia, Ukraine, and Poland entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial processes. You will be accountable for information quality checks and will be involved in the improvement of financial and accounting processes. For the Financial Control part, the role includes participation in monthly corporate financial closing, controlling and keeping financial data in the corporate ERP system in line with local data. You will be involved in audits and due diligence. Overall, you will be responsible for spreading across the organization risk-based approach and financial prudency.To get a grasp of your first 6 months:
- Participation in corporate monthly financial closing and monthly validation of differences between corporate system and locals, including Intragroup reconciliation
- Manage efficiency improvements of financial control in Ukraine
- Participation in internal control procedures development
- Assist Tax amp; Accounting teams in the automation of processes
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial processes
- Analyze inefficiencies in financial and accounting processes, propose and implement solutions
- Conduct internal control level reviews
- Be financial safeguard
Your Qualifications
- You master Excel, which you can use for analysis of any data stream. You understand how to optimize and automate data crunching processes
- Knowledge of RAS, UAS is mandatory, IFRS understanding
- Appetite for automation projects
- You have had experience in or you have interest in the internal control process and risk management systems (you are familiar with such concepts as segregation of duties or Disaster recovery plan)
- You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, you enjoy sharing amp; learning from others and you are a team-player
- You embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks
- You have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English
- Nice to have: knowledge or experience of working with Brazil and/or Poland is a nice plus
