Emsi Burning Glass, the leader in labor market analytics, is seeking a Sr, Product Manager who will oversee the design of new and existing data-focused software tools that help our enterprise customers define their talent strategy.The Sr. Product Manager will coordinate a team of product owners and designers inside Emsi Burning Glass’ Enterprise amp; Staffing group. They will work with client-focused SME’s to understand customer needs, work with designers to turn those needs into compelling SaaS interface designs, and coordinate with software engineers to go from mockup to product launch. He or she will be smart, curious, humble, and a great communicator. This role requires someone who is thoughtful and data-informed in the way he or she designs software, experiments, solves problems, communicates, and leads. Preference will be given to candidates who also possess any of the following characteristics:
- Experience and/or training in user experience / user interface (UX/UI) design, data analysis, basic familiarity with programming, working with application programming interfaces (APIs), research and development (Ramp;D), user testing
- Experience working in an agile software development environment and managing projects in related software (Jira or similar)
- Experience working at a startup, as an independent contractor, and/or as a business owner
- Experience working in the staffing or HR technology industries
