Import.io delivers a SaaS platform that enables enterprises to convert the mass of data on public web sites into structured, high-quality machine-readable data at scale.

Reporting directly to the VP Product amp; Delivery, the Technical Account Manager owns the technical delivery of website extractors to end customers. As a technical manager they are responsible for coordinating and facilitating the development work of external partners and quality assuring their output in line with project milestones.

We are looking for talented individuals with an obsessive attention to detail and an appetite for ownership who will train, guide and manage external teams of JavaScript developers to deliver solutions to meet our customers’ needs.

L3 Technical Support engineer

  • Be the Lead for techno-functional team in supporting the downstream support team as well as solve complex technical problems.
  • Showcase leadership skills in shaping the organization to a scaled maturity model.
  • Project mange the deliveries for customers on schedule with high quality.
  • Be front runner in terms of optimizing the process lags, improve efficiency and cost.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and scalability to improve business KPIs.
  • Act as cross functional program team representative, gathering and disseminating information to and from product development and engineering teams.
  • Mentor technical services personnel, as needed. Availability for 24x7x365 staffing assignments, on-call rotation.
  • Strong initiative and teamwork. Understands the business impact of critical issues.
  • Primarily able to diagnose the problem, actively able to resolve the problem/issue and communicate it to end user/client via email or call according to the given SLA.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and/or analyze network traffic to diagnose complex analysis
  • Lead and act as mentor for L2 amp; L1 teams.
  • Liaison between Product management, Engineering and Support teams.
  • Handle escalations in effective manner and solve customer problems.
  • Prepare reports for customers and KPIs monitoring for SLA

Requirements

  • Creative mindset in solving technical blockers faced by the team.
  • Enjoys handling technical problems for first time and research for solutions.
  • Minimum 3 years of Hands on Experience in Java script, python
  • Enjoys writing SQL and competent to work on any DMS technologies.
  • Experience in debugging and analyzing the web architecture for complex websites.
  • API debugging, redirect, pagination, slow loading, DOM debugging
  • Have strong knowledge and experience on HTML, web browser internals.
  • Have Strong knowledge and experience on Anti-captcha, Proxy technologies, back connect proxies
  • Web data extraction experience: web crawling, web scraping.
  • Knowledge on techniques and tools used for web crawling, data extraction and performing asynchronous data processing with distributed systems.
  • Usage of ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of Regex and prior experience with usage of xpath
  • Exposure to AWS is added advantage
  • Exposure to scripting Unix shell scripting, windows scripting, Js and willingness to upgrade to next level.
  • Exposure to noje.js, react
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Headless browser, their framework, chromium web kit, web automation and web scraping
