Main Purpose of the role
Currently all EUM manufacturing order and BAP activity is managed in the Embedded team. There is a queue of 12 different BAP activities with 6 different xSIM Manufacturers.
Given this, as part of New vs Existing SIM SKU Improvements process, will be created a new Team in the Enable Cluster to clearly do the split between Technology activities (new SKU processes) and Operation (operationalization of the Existing SKUs process).
Key Responsibilities
- Support xSIM manufacturing process
- Preparation, execution and automation of pre-BAP and BAP processes
- Automate BAP QA Processes
- xSIM Manufacturer BAP validation activities
- Post xSIM Manufacturing QA activities and troubleshooting of issues
- Development of electrical profiles according to business needs
- New SKU Development and Product Support
- OTA Campaigns
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science field
- 2+ years of experience working on a similar position at an xSIM manufacturer or an MNO or similar
- In-depth knowledge of xSIM manufacturing processes and flows
- Good understanding of relevant standards and specifications (ETSI, 3GPP, Global Platform, Java Card, etc.) related to device to xSIM communication and xSIM configuration (incl. STK/CAT operation)
- Good understanding of I/O protocols (T=0, APDUs, low-level protocol features)
- Hands-on experience in development and testing of electrical profiles
- Familiarity with data formats used in this industry (.out files formats, profile descriptions, etc.)
- Familiarity with security mechanisms typically used for data exchange (transport keys, PGP, SFTP, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Understanding of GSMA RSP technology, concepts and data formats (ASN.1, TCA IPP, etc.)
- Understanding of mobile networks protocols and flows
- Hands-on experience using protocol analyzers, communication spy tools, etc. (e.g. COMPRION MiniMove)
- Hands-on experience working with mobile network emulators
- Test Automation Tools
- Automation processes development experience
