About the Opportunity
Dentons Russia is currently seeking a motivated Associate to join our Life Sciences amp; Healthcare practice. As a part of this role you will develop your knowledge of the legal subject matter, working on matters under limited supervision. Understanding of legal principals like time management, time recording and commentary and effective and clear communication are key attributes of an Associate.
About Role
- Include any specific project or transactional work
- Drafting accurate and clear legal advice
- Providing timely and responsive service to clients, seeking to understand their needs and support their legal and commercial aims.
- Supporting partners and senior lawyers in delivering to clients and developing the positive reputation of Dentons
- Understanding and applying the Dentons values in everyday work
- Building relationships with clients by developing rapport
- Seeking opportunities to build strong internal and external networks
- Suggesting and driving business development initiatives
- Leading, and mentoring more junior team members
- Working on pro bono matters from within the firm
- Coordinating community events and contributing to the firm’s operations such as graduate recruitment and training initiatives.
- Recording time accurately on a daily basis
- Communicating the Dentons brand and its value proposition
About You
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Life Sciences (pharmaceutical) in a law firm
- Secondment experience is a plus
- Comprehensive understanding of the industry
- Fluent English both spoken and written
- Willingness to do outstanding and challenging things;
- Outstanding public speaking skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work on matters with limited supervision
- Diligence in undertaking the role
- Proactive in attaining matters
- Understands causes of professional risk and ethical responsibilities
- Understands client relationship’s role in developing business
