Responsibilities:
- Filling the knowledge base, accounting system, writing instructions;
- Interaction with the staff of data centers. (order of remote work, work with a ticket system,performance of work);
- Installation and maintenance hardware;
- Monitoring, automation and further improvement of existing infrastructure;
- Automation of operations, writing scripts. Writing infrastructure services;
- Communication with infrastructure providers, checking the effectiveness of the services used.
- Analysis and analytics of service resources in the area of responsibility;
Requirements
- Experience in maintain servers racks in the data centres;
- Experience in inventory systems (GLPI, NetBox, etc.);
- Deployment experience, Linux server management configurations;
- To automate and monitor processes, knowledge of languages: Perl, Python;
- Good understanding of networking processes and network stack;
- Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail;
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives;
Additional skills:
- Skills for writing automation scripts using Ansible / SaltStack or the like;
- Experience with LXC containers: assembly, networks;
- Experience with large server clusters, microservice architecture;
- Experience in the deployment and administration of monitoring systems (Logstash, Nagios, Icinga, Zabbix, Prometheus);
Additionally, in the conditions:
- Off-hours work (evening, weekend) as required by change control procedures and priorities;
- Rare business trips to the head office or data centers;
