Arkadium is seeking a collaborative and solutions-oriented Head of Project Management to lead our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high impact projects on a multi-discipline team. This is a remote position but when all covid related restrictions are cancelled we expect the new hires to be able to visit our Krasnodar office at least once a quarter.

Responsibilities:

• Champion agile software development practices
• Facilitate communication between product teams, product owners and stakeholders
• Plan and consistently deliver against project schedules, communicate milestones, identify production risks or constraints, and troubleshoot dependencies

• Deliver project status updates with key metrics for product leadership on a regular basis
• Actively optimize and improve software production processes by introducing best practices and tools to drive teams’ efficiency
• Stay aware of the industry standards, both in terms of methodology and quality
• Facilitate discussion of project milestones between the development team and Product Owner
• Track the development speed against Product roadmaps to ensure that team is hitting the target milestones

• Cultivate relationships with key partners at the organization to enable efficient development and coordination of projects
• Mentor and professionally develop a team of motivated Project Managers and Scrum Masters

Requirements

• You will be working directly with the product leadership team in New York, so an advanced level of verbal and written English is required

• Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum, Kanban and ability to apply it
• 5+ years of project/team management, ideally in a Games company and/or experience with Subscription models and Microtransactions
• Experience with both traditional and Agile software development methodologies, understanding the applicability of each
• Experience with task trackers, enterprise-level software management tools
• Experience working in an internationally distributed multicultural company

• Ability to organize thoughts and deliver them both verbally and in writing in a way that is understandable both to technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with others in pursuit of a common goal
• Solutions oriented leader with a track record of inspiring teams towards success
