Responsibilities
- Implementation and maintenance of server and service infrastructure (Ubuntu / Debian);
- Monitoring, automation and further improvement of existing infrastructure;
- Troubleshooting and bottlenecks in the telephony of the company;
- Automation of operations, writing scripts. Writing infrastructure services;
- Telephony uptime support in the company. Interaction with employees and other departments in solving problems;
- Filling the knowledge base, accounting system, writing instructions;
- Selection and implementation of modern IP-telephony facilities (at all stages: from infrastructure to service);
- Configuring SIP servers, database (not DBA);
- Interaction with the staff of data centers. (order of remote work, work with a ticket system,performance of work); Communication with infrastructure providers, checking the effectiveness of the services used. Analysis and analytics of service resources in the area of responsibility;
- Off-hours work (evening, weekend) as required by change control procedures and priorities;
- Business trips to Headquarters or offsite datacenters if required;
Requirements
- Deployment experience, Linux server management configurations. Deep understanding of Unix systems;
- Experience in deploying, configuring and supporting telephony servers based on Asterisk;
- Knowledge and understanding of IP telephony technologies and protocols (SIP, IAX2, H323);
- To automate and monitor processes, knowledge of languages: Perl, Python, Bash, SQL;
- Knowledge and ability to compose AEL-dialplans, work with AGI and AMI;
- Knowledge of databases and the language of structured SQL queries at the level necessary to support the performance of IP-telephony; Good understanding of networking processes and network stack;
- Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions; Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail;
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives;
- Knowledge of English at the level of pre-Intermediate or higher;
- Requires a minimum of 2-4 years related work experience;
