Job Description
Quick Summary: This role will have an opportunity for hands-on experience in data engineering, working with cutting-edge technologies, and contributing to real-world projects. The data engineer intern will be part of the data production team. While programming and engineering experience is a plus, training in specific languages and data systems is part of the internship.Major Responsibilities: - Gather, extract, and validate data from external data sources.
- Develop and maintain code that imports and transforms data.
- Research effective solutions for transforming and enriching data.
- Contribute to the development of ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate on data cleansing and validation procedures.
Skills/Abilities:- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- High aptitude / lower technical experience required.
