Apt Resources, a leading recruitment agency, is looking for a friendly and skilled florist to join the team of a prestigious Five star Hotel in Doha. As a florist, you will be responsible for creating elegant and eye-catching floral arrangements that enhance the beauty of the hotel, leaving a lasting impression on guests.

• Create and maintain floral arrangements for the hotel's public areas, guest rooms, and restaurants
• Select and purchase appropriate flowers from local markets or suppliers
• Ensure flowers are fresh and in good condition for display
• Work with the housekeeping department to ensure the timely removal of wilted flowers and the proper disposal of organic waste
• Respond to special requests from guests, such as customized arrangements or arrangements for special occasions
• Provide suggestions to management for the use of flowers in enhancing the hotel's ambiance or theme
• Attend staff meetings and provide updates on the status of floral arrangements

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a florist, preferably in a five-star hotel or luxury setting
• Knowledge of an European language would be a big plus
• Knowledge of various flowers and plants, as well as their care and maintenance
• Creative design skills and the ability to create unique, eye-catching arrangements
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with budget management and cost control is a plus.
